The Netherlands won their match against USA on Saturday at Khalifa International Stadium, becoming the first team to advance to the quarterfinals of the Qatar World Cup 2022. Daley Blind and Memphis Depay each scored once to put the Netherlands up 2-0 at the break. Denzel Dumfries scored a remarkable third goal to seal the victory and put the Netherlands on track for a quarterfinal matchup with either Argentina or Australia.
